Dubai – The Couple Edition

31 March 2018

If you’re a couple visiting Dubai, you might want to ditch the crowded malls and opt for something more romantic. Here’s our round up of what to check out in Dubai as a couple:

Vox Outdoor Rooftop Cinema

What’s so special about this cinema, you ask? It’s located on the roof of the trendy Galleria Mall in Jumeirah, so you can watch movies under the stars in comfy sofas, munching on Italian treats from Heinz Beck’s Taste of Italy, or sinfully sweet desserts from Home Bakery. A ticket costs AED 150 and is inclusive of a blanket, pillow, soft drink and popcorn/chocolate.

Dinner in the Sky

Dinners on the ground are so 2017. Check out Dinner in the Sky – a Belgian-based experience that’s made it’s way to Skydive Dubai. You’ll definitely get some unique travel photos and enjoy a great meal – in the sky! For bookings and information, visit www.dinnerinthesky.ae/en
Skydive Dubai is an 8 minute taxi ride from Nakheel metro station.

Dubai Fountain

Located right next to the Dubai Mall in Downtown Dubai is the breathtaking Dubai Fountain – a major tourist attraction, and rightly so! Dine at a restaurant at Dubai Mall close to the fountain and enjoy your dinner with a view. The fountain shows start at 6pm everyday, and there are shows every half hour.
Dubai Fountain is next to the Dubai Mall, which is easily accessible via the Dubai Mall metro station.

Dubai Marina

If you’re looking for a calm place for a stroll, Dubai Marina is the place! Experience Lebanese cuisine with Arabian shisha with lovely views of skyscrapers. Make sure to check out Dubai Marina Mall for a relaxed shopping experience.
You can reach Dubai Marina via the Damac Properties metro station.

The Burj Khalifa

If you haven’t visited Burj Khalifa, did you even go to Dubai?! A breathtaking blend of technology and design, this beauty is something you NEED to add to your itinerary. The views from the observation deck on the 134th floor are guaranteed to leave you in awe. Make sure to book your passes in advance. Remember, our friendly hotel staff is more than help with any more information you may need!
The Burj Khalifa is easily accessible via the Burj Khalifa metro station.

Palm Jumeirah

As you may already be aware, the Palm Jumeirah is the world’s largest man-made island, which is considered the Eighth Wonder of the World. It’s the only structure created by man that can be seen from space. It’s definitely worth a visit – we would recommend checking out the delightful aquarium at The Atlantis while you’re on the Palm.
The Palm is a 10 minute taxi ride from Dubai Internet City metro station.
